Joker, I have a list of sentences I will give you that I have given to others on this site. I believe from their response that they really enjoyed working out the 'to be' verb in those sentences. Removing the 'to be' verb' means eliminating these passive verbs, 'is, are, be, being, am, was and were. Replace these verbs with descriptive verbs. Below, I have given you sample practice sentences.
1. He is handsome.

2 She was the smartest person in our class.

3 He is a dog hater.

4. She has been there.

5. It is true

6. You are wrong

7. She is untalented

8. I am the best

9. There is no one like me

10. Time is on my side
