Another way you could have asked the question, 'can you tell me the essence behind subliminal advertising? Can you give me 4 examples of subliminal advertising? These types of questions would answer your question with more clarity. Asking a question in e-prime has the same importance as answering it in e-prime.
By the way, my e-prime workshop, maashallah, had a great impact on the University students. They seem to have more resilience to changing their writing habits than those whom I continue to facilitate in the corporate world. Not only did they catch on quickly to removing the 'to
be' verbs, they gave numerous examples using very creative exchangeable verbs to express their specific thoughts. For most of these Urdu speaking students, speaking English plays a small role in their daily lives, but you would never have known it by the way they responded when they wrote in e-prime. They reminded me a lot of you Marcio.
