I don't identify. People form a relationship with a product, a team, a country, an ideology. I do not define my life as a collection of purchases, likes, products, or beliefs. I live.

I attempt the same thing - though I don't claim that I avoid all identifications, some of them, generally the most common ones, tend not to make any fundamental sense to me. For example, alliegance and patriotism towards a certain rountry just because it happened to occur as a location of your birth, or support towards certain sport team due to its supposed nationality or country of representation matching yours.
