As far as translation requests, I thought I would start this thread with a view to rendering into E-Prime biblical passages, versicles, quotes, and excerpts all from any modern or ancient version of the Bible, new and other extant international versions if any included.

"7 Now Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith, put himself forward and said, 'I will be king.'" - 1 KINGS 1:7

Here goes a go at it:

"7 Now Adonijah, whose mother people called Haggith, put himself forward and said, 'I will want people to elect me king.'"

"... 'I will work up to king.'" -- alternate.
