Default The mission is...

As I read through the US Employment Standards Administration website the following sentence caught my attention.

"The mission of ESA is to enhance the welfare and protect the rights of American [...]"

I immediately thought of "ESA's mission enhances the welfare..." but then an ESL'er can only do as much as he or she can. What can a native speaker/writer of E-Prime do?

A native speaker of E-prime can speak with clarity, authenticity and specific observations.

K, I thoroughly agree with you. Since I formulated a vague translation request the first time I tried it, how would you translate:

"The mission of ESA is to enhance the welfare and protect the rights of American [...]"

Thank you. HAND (Have a nice day).

You too have a great day. I have now covered over 3000 participants in teaching e-prime as a major part of my Business Writing course. Take care, K
