Exclamation question about this Forum area's heading

This Forum area bears a heading that reads, in part:

"Read these posts if you just discovered e-prime and/or would like to find out what it's all about."

Why not change from "find out what it's all about" to "find out what we do here, and why" or something similar?

The small group of people dedicated to e-prime try to converse writing in e-prime. Sometimes we get people on board who misuse the sites but for the most part, we try and figure out ways to use the e-prime language to express our thoughts. As you can read from my response, I have omitted 'to be' verbs which include, (is, are, was, were, be, being and am), to answer your question. Have a great day.....

I wish I could assist you CemTaureDum, but I have no idea what you mean by, 'na avatar'. Could you give more clarity?

An avatar means a display picture(beside your name) that one portrays in forums such as these.PS.Clarity seems like your favourite word, Karen!

Yes Chinmay, I like the word clarity as a replacement for I do not understand.

I updated the forum description and enabled avatar uploading. You can select one of our avatars or upload your own here.

On the forum's main page a sign reads, "Forum is Closed for Posting."

How would you render that into E-Prime?

Tentatively my ESL mind thought of, and actually suggested, a "No Posting" sign indicative of prohibition. You, however, may think or suggest differently.

E-Prime has temporarily closed the Forum for posting.

K, thank you. I jotted that down and saved to my HD for future reference.

Marcio, at times I have a problem with accessing e-prime. I will log in and read through the responses, but if I don't respond within a couple of minutes, I automatically get logged off. Do you have this experience as well?

What do you mean by HD?

Karen, no, I don't. Little does the forum's FAQ say about this impossibility (failure to get automatically logged back in) either. I do not have any valid guess as to why you cannot log in. Have you run a complete antivirus check on your computer machine lately?

HD (short for "Hard Disk", the computer's main storage disk which harbors the computer's vital programs sans which it would not function properly or not function at all).
